I have spent my entire career building communities for premier and private athletic clubs, and I have learned many valuable lessons. The first lesson is that exercise is a backdrop for incredible relationship building opportunities. Think about it. In your clubhouse dining room, people are dressed up, they are reserved and carefully minding their manners. During a workout, we let loose, we relax, we literally try to relax. Creating relationships through exercise is a great way to connect to people.
